Bij Dow Benelux in Terneuzen zoeken we een Mechanisch Toezichthouder die het verschil maakt op de werkvloer. Jij zorgt dat contractors onderhoudswerk veilig slim en volgens plan uitvoerenen gebruikt jouw mechanische kennis om onze installaties betrouwbaar te houden. Je staat midden in de operatie schakelt dagelijks met Operations en Engineering en helpt problemen niet alleen op te lossen maar ook vóór te zijn. En het mooie: je groeit continu meemet training praktijkervaring en ruimte om jezelf te ontwikkelen richting de toekomst.

Verantwoordelijkheden

• Checkt of alle noodzakelijke informatie in het werkpakket aanwezig is en geeft feedback aan de planner bij afwijkingen.
• Bekijkt of er problemen zijn met de uitvoering op technisch veiligheid of ander gebied in de plant.
• Beoordeelt of de contractor die het werk uitvoert de kennis en ervaring heeft om dit werk te kunnen/mogen uitvoeren.
• Zorgt dat hij de nodige (kritische) procedures en protocollen heeft en neemt deze door.
• Overlegt met de werkvoorbereider van de firma wanneer het werk uitgevoerd kan worden.
• Zorgt ervoor dat de juiste vergunning wordt aangevraagd.
• Checkt of alle machines en gereedschappen beschikbaar en veilig staat om er aan te kunnen werken.
• Voert alle werkzaamheden uit volgens de daarvoor geldende procedure met gebruik van de checklist indien van toepassing.
• Overlegt met de toezichthouder / werkvoorbereider als er extra handelingen nodig blijken te zijn.
• Bij extra problemen die een nieuwe werkorder nodig maken zorgt hij voor gedegen onderzoek naar de oorzaak van het probleem.
• Nadat de werkzaamheden van de contractor klaar controleer hij het werk en doet commissioning. Na commissioning levert hij de apparatuur op aan Operations.
• Voert kwaliteitscontrole uit en assisteert bij het bepalen of het probleem opgelost is.
• Completeert de benodigde informatie ten behoeve van documenting en history updating in SAP.

Kwalificaties

• Je hebt een technisch MBO 4 diploma bij voorkeur in de richting van werktuigbouwkunde OF je hebt MBO3 diploma met minimaal 3 jaar relevante wekervaring
• Als je ervaring hebt in maintenance is dat een plus maar dit is niet noodzakelijk
• Je spreekt vloeiend Nederlands kennis van de Engelse taal is een plus

• Probleemoplossend vermogen - Vaardigheid om de oorzaak van problemen te onderzoeken en effectieve oplossingen te vinden.
• Onderhoudsvaardigheden - Ervaring met preventief en correctief onderhoud aan elektrische systemen.
• Zelfstandigheid - Vermogen om storingen zelfstandig te ontdekken en te repareren.
• Mechanische vaardigheden - Basisvaardigheden in mechanisch werk om in de fabriek te kunnen helpen.
