Job Description
As a Security Officer - Utility Substation Rover in Riviera Beach FL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a utilities location you will conduct routine patrols across buildings and grounds stay highly visible to help deter security-related incidents and support access control and visitor badging as needed. You will document activities communicate clearly with site teams and assist employees and guests with professionalism. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients at a utilities location by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services when needed.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings yards and perimeter areas including checking gates doors fences and restricted access points.
- Monitor access control points and visitor activity verify identification and/or authorization and report unauthorized persons or suspicious activity per site procedures.
- Complete security-related reports and logs document patrol findings and incidents and communicate updates to Allied Universal supervision and/or site representatives.
Minimum Requirements:
- Security Experience 2 Years.
- 21 Years of Age.
- Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet - preferred.
- Access Control/Badge Experience - preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
