What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients at a logistics and distribution location by following security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Control access at entry points by checking identification verifying visitor and contractor authorization issuing temporary credentials when required and maintaining access logs.
• Monitor inbound and outbound traffic such as employees visitors carriers and deliveries and report irregularities to site leadership according to post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including supporting dispatch of medical fire and/or law enforcement services when directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility yard and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance and security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
