What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and site personnel by following Allied Universal procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a tech and telecom location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of offices common areas loading and parking areas and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor alarms access control points and/or video surveillance systems and report unusual conditions maintenance issues and security-related hazards through established channels.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including assisting with de-escalation coordinating with site contacts and/or contacting public emergency services when appropriate.
• Document patrol activity incidents and corrective actions in written and/or electronic reports and communicate relevant updates during shift transitions.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR/First Aid is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
