Job Summary
VP Management is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at an economy hotel located in Salem VA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness to ensure a pleasant environment for our guests. This role requires a hardworking individual who takes pride in their work and has a strong commitment to providing excellent hospitality services.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms bathrooms and common areas following established standards.
- Change linens make beds and replenish supplies as needed.
- Vacuum sweep mop floors and dust furniture and fixtures.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are properly stored and maintained.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and hotel policies.
- Assist with laundry duties as required.
Requirements
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting bending and standing for extended periods.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Good communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual with a professional attitude.
