As a Security Officer - Office Tower Patrol Driver in Los Angeles CA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate and more. As an unarmed driving Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents and support access control and visitor needs. You will communicate clearly with tenants and staff document observations using technology and respond to concerns with a customer-first approach. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants visitors and contractors at a commercial property by following Allied Universal security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of building interiors common areas parking areas and the property perimeter documenting observations and reporting maintenance hazards and/or suspicious activity.
• Monitor access points and assist with access control for authorized personnel including verifying identification as required and directing visitors to appropriate locations.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner coordinating with property management and/or local emergency services when needed.
• Complete accurate shift reports and incident documentation communicate post orders and noteworthy activity during shift transitions and support a professional presence that helps to deter unwanted activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
