Job Description
As a Security Officer - Flex Armed Patrol in Fort Worth TX you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Flex Part-Time Security Officer you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to onsite personnel and visitors by following security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
- Perform armed foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings corridors parking areas and perimeter points at a technology-focused location; report unusual conditions that may help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access control points and visitor processes verify identification and/or credentials and document entries exits deliveries and service providers per post orders.
- Respond to alarms calls for assistance and incidents in a calm problem-solving manner; coordinate with site contacts and public responders as directed.
- Complete detailed reports shift logs and incident documentation and communicate status updates to supervision and/or the client representative.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 1 years of armed security law enforcement and/or military experience.
- Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
- Possess an active DoD Secret clearance.
- Possess Level III Armed Certification for Texas only.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
