Job Description
As a Armed Security Officer - Resource Centerin Las Vegas NV you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. Join Allied Universal at a government location as an armed patrol officer helping to maintain a secure environment through routine patrols visible presence and rapid response to incidents. You will support access control report and document security-related activity and communicate professionally with staff and visitors. Bring integrity teamwork and a caring people-first approach while delivering reliable innovative service on every shift.

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors employees and contractors by following security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a government location.
- Maintain an armed presence in accordance with licensing requirements and post orders helping to deter prohibited activity while remaining professional and approachable.
- Monitor access points verify identification and/or authorizations and manage entry and exit in alignment with site procedures.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting details and notifying appropriate personnel as required.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings grounds and perimeter areas observing for unusual conditions hazards and policy violations and reporting findings per protocol.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have 1 years armed security law enforcement and/or military experience.
- Have 1 years of security experience.
- Have an armed guard card and/or license.
- Be 21 years of age.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
