Job Description
As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Watch in Charlotte NC you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to staff visitors and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior areas exterior grounds parking areas and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify hazards or unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points verify credentials as required and help to maintain orderly entry and exit for customers and employees in accordance with post orders.
- Respond to alarms suspicious activity incidents and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner; request assistance from law enforcement and/or emergency services when needed.
- Carry and maintain authorized equipment in accordance with licensing requirements and Allied Universal guidelines; complete accurate incident reports shift logs and other required documentation.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 1 years armed security-related law enforcement and/or military experience.
- Client requires proof of high school diploma and/or GED.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
