You will conduct routine patrols monitor assigned areas respond to security-related concerns and provide clear communication and customer service to staff and visitors. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients visitors and staff by following Allied Universal security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout the facility offices corridors entrances loading areas and exterior perimeter with working conditions varying by location.
• Monitor access points and control entry for authorized personnel visitors and deliveries assisting with visitor check-in and directing individuals to appropriate areas.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including medical emergencies disturbances and/or suspicious activity and notify appropriate personnel as required.
• Complete timely documentation such as incident reports shift logs and patrol activity records and communicate key information during shift transitions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma and/or GED as required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be able to lift up to 20 pounds preferred.
• Have a guard card and/or license preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
