As a Security Officer - Flex Officer - Open Availabilityin Minooka IL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees drivers visitors and/or vendors by following security-related procedures site-specific policies and emergency response activities as needed.
- Control access at entry points for a logistics and distribution location by verifying identification processing visitor check-in issuing badges and/or passes and maintaining access logs.
- Screen and direct inbound and outbound truck traffic by confirming appointments checking shipping documentation when required and coordinating with site contacts to route vehicles to the proper docks and/or staging areas.
- Monitor cameras alarms and other systems report irregular activity and respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances parking areas trailer yards dock areas and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and to document observations per post orders.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
