Job Description
As a Security Guard - Flex Patrol in Northport AL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Flex Part-Time Security Officer you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to patients visitors and staff by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings corridors entrances parking areas and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including assisting with de-escalation dispatch communications and coordination with clinical staff and/or local responders as directed.
- Control access at designated points by monitoring doors and restricted areas verifying credentials when required and directing visitors to appropriate check-in and/or waiting areas.
- Complete detailed reports and logs of patrols incidents and observations and promptly communicate security-related concerns to Allied Universal supervision and site leadership.
Minimum Requirements:
- A guard card and/or security-related license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
