What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors drivers and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Control access at entry and exit points by verifying identification credentials and delivery documentation and by directing vehicle and pedestrian traffic in accordance with site requirements.
• Maintain accurate logs of visitors employees and shipments including issuing and collecting badges and/or passes as required by site policy.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including reporting hazards unauthorized access attempts and policy violations through the chain of command.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of gates yards docks buildings and perimeter areas and report unusual activity damage and/or maintenance concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have security-related experience of 1 years.
• Have a TSA issued TWIC.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
