Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Technical SEO Specialist with strong e-commerce expertise to drive scalable organic growth across large product catalogs.
This is a remote role with the candidate required to be based in Lebanon.
The role focuses on technical architecture crawl efficiency faceted navigation control Core Web Vitals optimization and revenue-driven SEO execution. You will work closely with Engineering Product UX and Merchandising teams to ensure the platform is technically optimized for search visibility scalability and conversion performance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Technical SEO Strategy (E-Commerce Focus)
- Develop and implement scalable technical SEO strategies for large product and category structures
- Conduct advanced technical audits covering crawlability indexation rendering and site performance
- Optimize faceted navigation filters sorting parameters and pagination
- Lead SEO strategy for site migrations domain consolidations and platform replatforming initiatives
2. Site Architecture & Indexation Management
- Design and optimize scalable category hierarchies and internal linking structures
- Implement and manage canonical tags noindex directives rules and XML sitemaps
- Prevent duplicate content caused by filters variants and session parameters
- Manage product lifecycle SEO (out-of-stock discontinued seasonal pages)
3. Performance Optimization & Core Web Vitals
- Improve page speed and Core Web Vitals across PLPs and PDPs
- Collaborate with developers to optimize JavaScript rendering and crawlability
- Implement performance best practices including lazy loading and image optimization
4. Structured Data & Rich Results
- Implement and maintain product schema (price availability reviews FAQs)
- Optimize structured data for rich snippets merchant listings and enhanced search visibility
5. Data Analysis & Revenue Impact
- Analyze performance using Google Search Console GA4 Screaming Frog Ahrefs and SEMrush
- Conduct log file analysis to improve crawl budget allocation
- Monitor rankings organic revenue and conversion performance
- Forecast traffic and revenue impact from SEO initiatives
6. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Translate SEO requirements into clear technical documentation and development tickets
- Partner with Engineering teams during sprint planning and conduct SEO QA
- Mentor junior SEO team members
- Stay current with algorithm updates and evolving e-commerce search trends
KPIs / Success Metrics
- Organic revenue growth
- Growth in non-brand organic traffic
- Improved indexation health and crawl efficiency
- Core Web Vitals performance improvements
- Successful site migrations or launches without traffic loss
- Increased rich result visibility
Requirements
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of technical SEO experience including at least 3 years in e-commerce
- Proven experience managing large-scale product catalogs (10000 URLs)
- Strong expertise in crawl budget management and faceted navigation control
- Experience with JavaScript SEO and dynamic rendering
- Proficiency in log file analysis and technical data interpretation
- Solid understanding of HTML CSS and technical debugging
- Experience working with e-commerce platforms (Shopify Magento WooCommerce or custom platforms)
- Strong analytical mindset with revenue-focused decision making
- Advanced problem-solving and technical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to manage complex SEO projects and stakeholders
- Detail-oriented with strong QA capabilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with international and multi-language SEO
- Familiarity with marketplace-style architecture (Amazon-like structures)
- Experience with feed optimization and Google Merchant Center
- Knowledge of SQL or Python
- Experience collaborating on A/B testing and CRO initiatives
