Job Summary

Essential Skills & Certifications

Palo Alto Networks certifications (PCNSA and/or PCNSE) Required
Cisco certifications (CCNA and/or CCNP) Required
Strong knowledge of routing protocols: BGP OSPF
Strong knowledge of switching technologies: VLANs LAN
Solid understanding of WAN technologies: MPLS Internet circuits
Experience with QoS (Quality of Service)
Hands-on experience with:
- Palo Alto firewalls
- Cisco routers and switches
- Network security devices (firewalls)
Experience implementing and migrating SD-WAN solutions (Palo Alto Prisma preferred)
Strong troubleshooting and issue-resolution skills
Bilingual: French and English

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement new SD-WAN architecture
Configure Palo Alto firewalls gateways segmentation and security policies
Manage migration from legacy WAN to SD-WAN infrastructure
Implement firewall changes while ensuring compliance with security policies
Maintain and support:
- Routers
- Switches
- Access Points (APs)
- Firewalls
- SD-WAN devices
- Other physical network hardware
Install configure and troubleshoot network firewall and wireless equipment
Diagnose and resolve networking issues; communicate effectively with users and management
Implement and support disaster recovery procedures
Ensure network infrastructure availability and performance
Maintain up-to-date documentation for network design configurations and processes
Implement and manage security policies to protect systems from threats
Stay current with networking and cybersecurity best practices
Support governance and reporting requirements
