Job Description
As a Security Guard - Property Patrol Rover in Los Angeles CA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a residential location you will conduct routine foot and/or vehicle patrols stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents and respond to resident and guest needs with professionalism. You will monitor assigned areas document observations communicate clearly with property teams and represent our agile reliable and innovative culture that puts people first through teamwork and integrity.

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to residents guests and vendors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
- Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner escalating to property management and/or emergency services when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of residential common areas parking areas amenities and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
- Control access by monitoring entrances and exits verifying credentials and/or visitor authorization when required and directing individuals to appropriate locations.
- Complete routine reports and documentation communicate noteworthy activity to on-site contacts and support incident follow-up using required reporting systems.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
