What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to site staff and visitors by following security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities appropriate for a government location.
- Control access by verifying identification and/or visitor authorization issuing visitor credentials as directed and documenting entries exits and deliveries per post orders.
- Monitor cameras alarms and/or other security-related systems report irregular activity and help to deter unauthorized access or prohibited activity.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including notifying site leadership and/or public emergency services when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas including interior spaces and perimeter checks as applicable and complete required activity logs and incident reports.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Provide proof of a high school diploma and/or GED as required by the client.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
