Job Description
As a Security Officer - Flex Unarmed Foot Rounds in Atlanta GA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Flex Part-Time Security Officer you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. Learn more: As an unarmed patrol officer at a high-end retail and mall location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas complete routine rounds and maintain a visible presence that helps to discourage security-related incidents. You will assist shoppers and store teams with courteous customer service clear communication and timely incident reporting. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients and guests in a high-end retail location by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout sales floors stock areas entrances and the perimeter to help to deter theft trespassing and other unwanted activity.
- Monitor for suspicious behavior and potential loss prevention concerns and communicate observations to store leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision as directed.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including de-escalating disturbances and assisting with orderly resolution when appropriate.
- Complete detailed incident reports patrol logs and other required documentation and participate in shift briefings and/or coordination with law enforcement when needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Have 5 years of security-related experience.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
