Job Description
As a Security Officer - ID Checkpoint in Greenwood IN you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more. As an Allied Universal Security Officer in a fast-paced tech and media location you will support entry screening manage access control and visitor flow and conduct routine patrols to help to deter security-related incidents. You will remain visible respond to questions with exceptional customer service and document observations clearly. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors and employees by following site-specific security-related procedures access requirements and emergency response activities as directed.
- Screen entrants at designated checkpoints using approved methods and equipment verifying authorization and directing individuals to the proper check-in process.
- Monitor entry and exit activity and report unusual conditions policy concerns and/or prohibited items in a calm problem-solving manner.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations by communicating clearly documenting observations and notifying supervision and/or site contacts per post orders.
- Complete shift logs and required reports support queue management during peak arrival times and help to deter unauthorized access through consistent screening practices.
Minimum Requirements:
- CPR Certification is preferred.
- Access Control and/or Badge Experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
