This is a driving post requiring a valid drivers license supporting mobile patrol and rapid response across the property. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a retail and mall location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including assisting with de-escalation and coordinating with on-site management and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout interior common areas parking areas and the property perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor entrances loading areas and high-traffic zones for unusual activity and complete security-related reports and documentation per post orders.
• Support loss prevention and access control efforts by observing for policy violations assisting with crowd flow during peak periods and providing directions and information to shoppers and tenants.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
