As a Security Officer - Driver Patrol Response in Annapolis MD you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy retail and mall location where you will conduct routine patrols maintain a visible presence and assist with security-related incidents while delivering standout customer service and clear communication. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service by following Allied Universal security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of storefronts common areas parking lots and perimeter areas to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance or hazard concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor and employee activity providing directions and assisting with locating stores services and property rules as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including disputes medical calls and/or suspicious activity and request additional assistance when appropriate.
• Document patrols incidents and observations in written reports and/or electronic systems and communicate relevant updates to site contacts and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
