As a Security Officer - Construction Site Patrol in Richmond VA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more. Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced tech location as an unarmed patrol officer monitoring and patrolling assigned areas while staying visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will complete routine rounds document activity respond to concerns and deliver strong customer service and communication to employees and visitors. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to onsite personnel and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings parking areas loading zones and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access control points and security-related systems such as cameras alarms and/or visitor logs and report concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including documenting details and notifying the appropriate contacts.
• Complete timely reports such as shift activity logs incident reports and/or maintenance observations and communicate updates during shift handoff.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
