As a Security Officer- Healthcare Site Patrol - Part Timein Central Islip NY you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors employees and vendors by carrying out Allied Universal security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services as directed by post orders.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout healthcare and pharmaceutical operations areas offices parking areas and the facility perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or hazardous conditions.
- Monitor access points and verify identification badges and/or visitor authorization per site policy and document entries exits and unusual activity.
- Complete detailed reports of patrols incidents and observations and communicate relevant information during shift transitions to support continuity of operations.
Minimum Requirements:
- Customer Service Experience - preferred.
- State County or City Issued Security License - preferred.
- Access Control/Badge Experience - preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
