Job Description
As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Security Clearance in Iuka MS you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at an aerospace and defense location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas complete routine patrols and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will document observations communicate clearly with site contacts and/or responders and deliver helpful customer service. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
- Respond to incidents alarms and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner escalating to site leadership and emergency services as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings work areas parking areas and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
- Support access control by monitoring entry and exit points verifying identification and/or badges managing visitor check-in and directing traffic according to site procedures.
- Complete timely security-related reports and logs document unusual activity and communicate observations to supervisors and/or client representatives.
Minimum Requirements:
- Maintain an active DoD Secret clearance.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
