What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related screening procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Screen employees visitors and drivers at entry points using approved methods such as credential checks package and/or bag inspections magnetometer and/or handheld wand screening and vehicle access verification as assigned.
• Monitor assigned entrances queues and loading area access points to help identify prohibited items unauthorized access attempts and/or suspicious activity and communicate concerns to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including documenting events completing reports and escalating notifications per post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of screening areas building entrances and perimeter zones as assigned; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• A state county or city issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
