Job Description
As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol in Wailuku HI you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service by following Allied Universal post orders security-related procedures and site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a government location.
- Respond to incidents disturbances and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner escalating concerns through the chain of command as needed.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings grounds parking areas and perimeter points; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
- Monitor access points help to verify visitor and vendor identification and/or appointments as required and direct the public to appropriate areas while maintaining a professional presence.
- Complete security-related reports such as incident reports shift activity logs and patrol documentation and communicate observations to site representatives and Allied Universal leadership.
Minimum Requirements:
- A state county or city issued security license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
