Job Description
As a Security Officer - Mobile Patrol Driver in Cleveland OH you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more. Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced healthcare location supporting hospital operations including vaccine-related areas. As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a driving post you will conduct routine patrols maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents assist patients visitors and staff with clear communication and document activities. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to patients visitors and staff by following site-specific security-related procedures access control processes and emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings corridors waiting areas parking areas and perimeter areas watching for unusual activity unsecured doors and/or hazards and reporting concerns through the proper channels.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including assisting with de-escalation directing foot traffic and requesting medical staff and/or local emergency services as needed.
- Monitor and document authorized entry to restricted areas support visitor management as assigned and help maintain orderly movement through entrances lobbies and/or checkpoints.
- Complete detailed incident reports patrol logs and shift documentation and communicate relevant updates to Allied Universal supervision and site stakeholders.
Minimum Requirements:
- Proof of required hospital vaccinations is required.
- Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
