What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff visitors patients and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of interior areas exterior grounds entrances corridors stairwells parking areas and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Monitor access control points and visitor flow verify authorization as required and report irregularities such as propped doors restricted-area violations and/or unattended items.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including medical emergencies disruptive behavior and/or fire and utility alarms and communicate updates to site leadership and/or responding agencies.
• Complete shift activity reports and incident documentation escalate issues through the chain of command and assist with maintaining order during sensitive healthcare operations such as after-hours activity and/or high-traffic periods.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Client requires proof of a high school diploma and/or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
