Now Hiring: Candidate Experience Specialist Omaha NE
Pay: $19.13 / hour Schedule: MondayFriday 8 AM 5 PM In-Office Full Benefits Bonus Opportunity
Were looking for a high-energy people-focused professional to join our team at Allied Universals Omaha branch as a Candidate Experience Specialist.

What Youll Be Doing:
As the Candidate Experience Specialist youll:
Manage the branch hiring pipeline from post-offer to onboarding
Schedule and confirm New Employee Orientation (NEO) using iCIMS and DOMO
Stay in contact with applicants via phone email and text throughout the process
Track background check statuses reach out to candidates and update systems
Support onboarding and provide clear first-day instructions to new hires
Serve as branch receptionist greeting visitors and supporting office operations
Step in for the Onboarding Specialist as needed

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage applicants in the post-offer process for an assigned area advance applicants through the steps required for onboarding
- Schedule Onboarding and New Employee Orientation (NEO) for new applicants by reviewing completed background screening (Backgrounds Complete) and Ready for NEO statuses in the Applicant Tracking System (iCIMS) and business intelligence tool (DOMO)
- Contact candidates via phone text and email to confirm dates available for Orientation and send confirmation email to applicant via iCIMS
- Review DOMO and ensure applicants are moving through the statuses
- Background Check Completed (and no driving) > Schedule for NEO
- 3rd Party BG Check > Review BG and see if complete Schedule for NEO if completed
- Ready for NEO > Those who have previously been reached for NEO but havent responded yet Outreach again
- NEO Scheduled > Confirm with candidate their NEO arrival ensure no further questions from candidate
- Background Check Initiated > This candidate has not completed BG invitation touch base and offer to help them complete it
- Background Under Review > Has the Criminal History card been sent/completed may need a follow up with HR or Candidate
- Background in Process > If candidate has been in the step for a couple of days please review BG in Sterling and see what is pending. Contact Candidate to let them know BG still in process
- Update iCIMS statuses once applicant is scheduled via person profile
- Post NEO to On-the-Job Training (OJT)
- Provide work schedule to applicant (Are we providing any offer/schedule information at time of interview)
- Make contact with site manager to ensure new hire has the correct information
- Make final contact with employee to ensure first day is completed as scheduled
- Perform the essential duties of the Onboarding Specialist in their absence
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Prior work experience in a professional administrative environment
- Able to focus and multi-task in a busy environment
- Ability to successfully handle stressful situations in a calm and professional manner
- Effective management skills; able to coordinate with multiple employees with diverse personalities and engage them to perform at optimum levels
- Highly proficient and fully functional in all Microsoft Office applications and able to effectively utilize all available office management technology
- Ability to take initiative successfully handle and prioritize multiple competing assignments and effectively manage deadlines
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- College degree in business human resources or related field of study
- Human resources and/or recruiting experience
- Experience using iCIMS or other Applicant Tracking System
- Experience using WinTeam or other Human Resources Information System
- Experience using DOMO or other business intelligence tool

- Eight paid holidays annually five sick days and four personal days
