As a Security Officer - Vehicle Patrol Driver in New Bern NC you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols stay highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents and support daily operations with strong customer service and communication. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees contractors and visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures access requirements and reporting protocols at an industrial manufacturing location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas warehouses offices loading docks and exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor gates doors and key control points; verify credentials manage visitor check-in and/or badging as directed and document deliveries and trailer movements when assigned.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner; coordinate notifications to site contacts and/or emergency responders per post orders.
• Complete detailed reports on patrol findings incidents and maintenance concerns; communicate shift updates and observations to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid drivers license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
