Job Description
As a Security Officer - Patrol in Dallas TX you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas complete routine rounds stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents and respond to alarms and requests for assistance. You will support access control document observations and provide professional customer service to tenants and visitors. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients tenants and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings common areas parking areas and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance and security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and observe onsite activity; report suspicious behavior hazards and policy violations according to site procedures.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including assisting with alarms disturbances and medical calls as directed by post orders.
- Document patrols incidents and daily activities in written and/or electronic reports and communicate key information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Minimum Requirements:
- Customer Service Experience - preferred.
- Access Control/Badge Experience - preferred.
- Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet - preferred.
- Alarm Panel Experience - preferred.
- Guard Card/License - preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
