Job Description
As a Security Officer - Gated Community Access Control in Coto De Caza CA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas conduct routine rounds and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will assist tenants visitors and property staff through clear communication and customer-focused service while documenting observations and escalating concerns as needed. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to tenants residents visitors and/or contractors by following Allied Universal procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of commercial real estate buildings common areas parking lots and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
- Monitor access points and observe activity on property; assist with visitor direction contractor check-in and/or parking and amenity compliance as assigned by site procedures.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including reporting concerns to site contacts and/or emergency services when appropriate.
- Complete security-related reports and activity logs communicate notable observations to the oncoming shift and/or property management and assist with preserving information related to incidents.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
- Have customer service experience preferred.
- Have a guard card and/or license preferred.
- Have CPR and/or First Aid preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
