Job Description
As a Security Guard - Flex Patrol Rover in Atlanta GA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Flex Part-Time Security Officer you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. Learn more: As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas conduct routine rounds and stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control points assist visitors and employees with courteous service and communicate clearly while documenting observations. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to staff visitors and the public by following site-specific security-related procedures access control requirements and when appropriate emergency response activities at a government location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner contacting site leadership and/or public emergency services as needed.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings grounds parking areas and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
- Monitor cameras alarms radios and other systems when assigned reporting irregular conditions and/or maintenance concerns through established channels.
- Complete required documentation such as activity logs and incident reports and communicate security-related observations during shift briefings and/or post handoff.
Minimum Requirements:
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
