What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal post orders security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
• Control access points by verifying identification and/or credentials monitoring vehicle and pedestrian entry and directing authorized traffic to appropriate areas.
• Respond to incidents alarms and requests for assistance in a calm problem-solving manner and notify site leadership and/or public agency contacts as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings docks parking areas and perimeter lines to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards or suspicious conditions.
• Complete detailed reports and logs for security-related activities incidents and patrol observations and preserve observations for follow-up review.

Minimum Requirements:

• A TSA Issued TWIC is required.
• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
