Job Description
As a Security Guard - Unarmed Patrol Clearance Required in Gilbert AZ you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a leading aero and defense location you will monitor assigned areas conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will support access control points communicate clearly with staff and visitors and document observations using a computer and/or tablet. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner notifying site contacts and/or public responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings work areas and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
- Monitor access points and verify credentials for employees visitors and vendors following site rules for entry badging and escorts.
- Complete patrol logs incident reports and other documentation in a clear and timely manner in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have 2 or more years of security experience.
- Have an active DoD Secret clearance.
- Be 21 or more years of age.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
