As a Security Officer - Patrol Alarm Panel Operator in San Francisco CA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas complete routine rounds and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support access points communicate clearly with employees and visitors and document observations using site tools. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities appropriate to an industrial location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including contacting site leadership and/or public emergency services as directed by post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas warehouses parking areas and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Control access at designated entry points by verifying identification and/or authorization directing visitors and maintaining visitor and vehicle logs per site policy.
• Complete routine security-related reports including patrol activity incident documentation and communication logs and escalate concerns through the chain of command.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.

• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
