Job Description
As a Security Officer - Unarmed Rounds Specialist in Columbus OH you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced food and beverage location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas conduct routine rounds and remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access control and badge checks as needed use a computer and/or tablet to document activity and deliver strong customer service through clear professional communication. At Allied Universal you will act with integrity while working as part of a caring reliable team.

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients and team members by following Allied Universal security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a food and beverage location.
- Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner escalating concerns to site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout production warehouse office and exterior perimeter areas observing for unusual activity and helping to deter unauthorized access.
- Control access at designated entry points by verifying identification monitoring visitor and delivery traffic and directing persons to the proper check-in process.
- Document patrol observations incident details and shift activities in written reports and/or electronic systems and communicate key information during shift handoff.
Minimum Requirements:
- Access Control/Badge Experience - preferred.
- Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet - preferred.
- Customer Service Experience - preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
