Job Description
As a Security Officer - Dispatch Center in South San Francisco CA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more. Join Allied Universal at a leading healthcare location as a Dispatch Officer coordinating security-related responses and supporting daily operations. You will monitor activity manage access control and badge workflows handle alarm and call notifications and maintain clear communication with site teams and visitors. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
- Operate the dispatch center by monitoring alarms cameras and communication systems; receive calls for service and dispatch officers as needed.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner coordinating notifications and documenting actions taken.
- Maintain accurate logs and reports including incident documentation shift activity records and key communications.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
Minimum Requirements:
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
