What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff visitors and vendors at a government healthcare location by following Allied Universal post orders site-specific policies and assigned security-related procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings parking areas entrances and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior; working environments and conditions may vary by assignment.
• Monitor access points and respond to alarms calls for service and other security-related concerns using a calm problem-solving approach and contacting site leadership and/or emergency services when required.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations by assessing the scene de-escalating when appropriate and documenting actions taken in accordance with post orders and local requirements.
• Complete required reports logs and shift pass-downs including incident documentation and patrol activity records and communicate observations to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 or more years of security-related experience is required.
• A valid drivers license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Applicants must be 21 or more years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
