We have got an exciting opportunity for Admission Manager be part of our team at University of the Sunshine Coast Adelaide and Sydney in our Sydney campus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the achievement of the sales targets with the Head of Student Acquisition
  • Maintain the risk index at an agreed level with the Head of International Student Recruitment
  • Monitor visa decisions and address areas of risk as identified
  • Represent ECA at the Joint Operations meetings
  • Prepare reports for multiple committees including but not limited to the Joint Operations meetings Joint Management Committee Meetings (JMC) as required and the Executive Management Committee (EMC)
  • Provide reports as required
  • Support the development of the admissions team to best in business
  • Create and maintain reference material to ensure consistency in decision making
  • Maintain staffing levels
  • Set & monitor daily targets to ensure agreed service levels are met at all times
  • Process all admissions actions as required
  • Communicate delays / changes to service levels as appropriate
  • Work with brand stakeholders to ensure a seamless enrolment process for all students

As the successful candidate you will ideally have:

Qualification:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent relevant experience in international education admissions or a related discipline.

Experience in:

  • Demonstrated experience in the international education sector preferably within Australia.
  • Proven experience working in a higher education admissions team managing endtoend admissions processes.
  • Experience in team leadership including coaching capability development and performance support.
  • Strong stakeholder management experience across internal teams education agents and external partners.
  • Experience delivering training to staff and/or education agents.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and implementing GTE (Genuine Temporary Entrant) assessment rules across multiple markets.

Knowledge:

  • Strong understanding of the international education regulatory environment including ESOS National Code and CRICOS obligations.
  • Thorough knowledge of international and domestic qualifications including English language requirements and pathway assessments.
  • Advanced expertise in GTE assessment frameworks including financial assessment and marketspecific risk considerations.

Skiils:

  • Proven ability to develop implement and improve admissions processes in line with regulatory and compliance requirements
  • Strong analytical and reportwriting skills with the ability to present clear insights to senior and executive stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to manage sensitive or complex discussions.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word including formulas formatting and reporting templates.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities deadlines and operational risk.
