Job Description
As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Rounds in Fort Wayne IN you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more. Join Allied Universal at a leading tech location as an unarmed patrol officer monitoring and patrolling assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment. You will conduct routine patrols remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents support access points and provide standout customer service and communication to employees and visitors. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures location-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
- Control access at entrances and key interior points by verifying identification and/or authorization issuing visitor credentials and directing guests to the proper areas.
- Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner; document observations and actions taken per post orders.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings grounds and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity identify hazards and report maintenance concerns.
- Complete shift activity reports and incident documentation communicate updates to site leadership and coordinate with local public responders when required by location procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
- CPR Certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
