What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to guests and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner to support a secure environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the hotel property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Monitor entrances exits and common areas to observe for unusual activity and report findings according to site protocols.
• Document and report incidents hazards and maintenance needs as observed during patrols to support property management and operations.
• Assist guests and employees with directions and information while maintaining a professional presence throughout the location.
• Collaborate with hotel management and Allied Universal team members to address security-related concerns and maintain a welcoming atmosphere.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
