Job Description
As a Security Officer - Flex Rover in Hollywood FL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Flex Part-Time Security Officer you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. You will assist staff patients and visitors with directions and courteous communication document observations and respond to concerns with professionalism. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to patients visitors and staff by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including medical emergencies disruptive persons and fire and/or life event alarms and notify appropriate personnel as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings parking areas and the perimeter noting unusual activity unsecured doors and hazards and reporting concerns through approved channels.
- Support access control by monitoring entrances assisting with visitor processing and helping to direct foot traffic in accordance with site-specific requirements.
- Complete required documentation such as incident reports daily activity logs and shift handoffs and communicate relevant information to on-site leadership and/or dispatch.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have 1 years of security-related experience.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
