What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures access requirements and when appropriate emergency response activities at a government aviation location.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner and notify appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of terminal areas parking areas roadway approaches and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or violations of site rules.
• Monitor activity through observation and available systems complete reports on noteworthy events and communicate updates using radios phones and/or computer systems.
• Control entry to restricted areas by checking identification and credentials directing visitors and enforcing posted rules and/or client instructions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
