As a Security Officer - Patrol Rover in Los Angeles CA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas conduct routine rounds and remain highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will greet tenants and visitors with strong customer service communicate clearly when something looks out of place and document activity using a computer and/or tablet while supporting a team that values integrity reliability and innovation.

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants visitors and property staff by following Allied Universal security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial property including common areas corridors stairwells parking areas and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and building activity report suspicious behavior and assist with visitor direction tenant requests and general inquiries.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including supporting evacuations medical response coordination and incident documentation as required by site policy.
• Complete detailed reports on patrol observations incidents and maintenance-related concerns and communicate updates to property management and onsite personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Security Experience 6 Months is required.
• Lift Up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Customer Service Experience - preferred.
• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet - preferred.
• State County or City Issued Security License - preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
