As a Security Officer - Front Desk in Birmingham AL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more. As a Security Officer you will complete routine patrols remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents respond to calls for assistance and document observations using a computer and/or tablet. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients visitors and staff by carrying out Allied Universal security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including assisting with de-escalation notifications and documentation per site requirements.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas entrances parking areas and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe cameras and/or alarm systems as assigned reporting irregular conditions and coordinating with site personnel and local responders when needed.
• Complete detailed reports maintain shift logs and communicate security-related information to supervisors and site representatives to support continuity of operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 years of security-related experience.
• Be 21 years of age.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Have CPR and/or First Aid certification preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
