Job Description
As a Security Officerin Westford MA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at an aero and defense location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas complete routine rounds and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will communicate clearly assist employees and visitors with a customer service mindset and document observations using computer and/or tablet tools. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings production and office areas parking areas and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and credential requirements verify visitor authorization and document entries and exits according to site procedures.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including coordinating notifications to site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
- Complete daily activity logs and incident reports communicate observations to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision and support investigations by preserving notes and relevant details.
Minimum Requirements:
- An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
- Customer Service Experience is preferred.
- Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.
- CPR Certification is preferred.
- Alarm Panel Experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
