Job Description
As a Security Officer - Financial Site -Weekdaysin Flushing NY you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more. As an Allied Universal Patrol Unarmed Officer at a financial institution location you will conduct routine patrols of assigned areas stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents and support access control and badge checks as needed. You will respond to concerns document activity and deliver professional customer service through clear communication. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients and staff by following Allied Universal security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
- Conduct regular and random foot patrols of lobbies offices parking areas and perimeter points documenting observations and helping to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and visitor traffic verify identification and/or authorization as required and assist with maintaining orderly entry and exit procedures.
- Respond to alarms suspicious activity incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner coordinating notifications and/or response steps per site procedures.
- Complete daily activity logs and incident reports communicate with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership and support security-related operations such as CCTV and alarm monitoring as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
