Airport Security Officer Part Time Patrol

As a Airport Security Officer - Patrol Driver in Kahului HI youll play a vital role in maintaining the safety and security of all passengers staff and airport facilities. Your role involves conducting routine patrols engaging with the public and delivering exceptional customer service through clear communication. Position Type: Part Time - Overnight

Pay Rate: $22.50 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $1.96. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee.

• Valid Drivers License
• 21 years of age
• Have ability to pass a background check drug screening and physical exam
• Ability to obtain AOA badge (Federal Background Check in ordinance with DOT requirements)

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors passengers and staff by following site-specific procedures access control requirements and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of terminals parking areas curbside zones and perimeter areas to help to identify and report suspicious activity and/or policy violations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including assisting with crowd management and/or directing individuals to appropriate resources.
• Monitor entry points and restricted areas by verifying credentials controlling access and documenting authorized and unauthorized entries per post orders.
• Complete shift activity logs and incident reports communicate via radio and/or phone and coordinate with onsite personnel and local authorities as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
