As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol 1 Year in New York NY you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading financial services location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas complete routine rounds and maintain a visible presence that can help to deter security-related incidents. You will support daily operations through clear communication accurate reporting and a customer-first approach when assisting employees and visitors. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff visitors and/or vendors by following security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a financial services location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas exterior grounds and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and identify hazards unsecured doors and/or suspicious conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor traffic check identification and/or credentials as required and direct individuals according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including de-escalation support notifications to appropriate parties and coordination with on-site teams.
• Document security-related activities patrol observations incidents and/or unusual conditions in reports and logs and communicate relevant updates to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 1 Years of Security Experience.
• Be 21 Years of Age.
• State County or City Issued Security License is preferred.
• Customer Service Experience is preferred.
• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
